Stuck in a rut and ready to change

Hello,

I'm a 44-year-old married mom of an awesome 17-year-old son. We have what many would say is an idyllic life, living at a beautiful mountain guest ranch. But it is not my dream, and it's been a bit of living hell, due to my in-laws who are here for half the year, and have been very controlling in the past with my husband.

The property has been divided, and we're ready to move on, but...

1. Our ranch has not yet sold, so we're stuck here, for four years longer than we expected.
2. I'm not sure where we'll go or what we'll do. 3. The dreams we are moving forward with are patchy at best, and I'm pretty lost.

Although my husband is extremely loving, he is also a burden at times. I would like to learn how to improve our relationship along this route, wherever it may take us.
