Hi Shahadat,

So many people that I coach come to me because they have trouble getting motivated.

Uually the problem is that people often see the whole task in front of them and it seems so overwhelming. For example, someone might come to me and say that they want to start their own business but they can't get motivated or started. This is because they are thinking about all the thousands of actions steps they must take and things they will need to do to get their business off the ground. Because the thoughts are just too overwhelming, they don't start and they don't do anything!

I like to ask people what is just the next step! So in your studies and education, what is the next step that you want to take? That is ALL you have to think about now and then JUST DO IT.

Action builds momentum! Once you take some action, any action, no matter how small it is, it sets the ball rolling and builds momentum.

Once you have taken that first little step, then just ask yourself, "What is the next step? and then just do that!

Before you know it, you will find that you have progressed quite far and you will have your enthusiasm back.
