A Work Progress...

by Jeni

I am grateful that I've remained strong in the face of adversity...

I am grateful that I have overcome obstacles and remained independent...
I am grateful that I have a strong sense of self...
I am grateful that I have, through self-inclination, obtained a broad range of skills in a number of trades and fields to experience and to fall back on...
I am grateful for my innate empathy, compassion and ability to understand, with depth, how people think and feel outside of my own limited perception...
I am grateful for my pet as she's become my family, my best friend...
I am grateful that, though my father passed on nearly 5 years ago, I had the chance to experience the wealth and contribution of his soul for 25 years of my life...
I am grateful for the creative business I've built myself, from the ground up that will continue to flourish...
I am grateful that very soon, I will be freed of a negative and oppressive situation and once again feel alive...
I am grateful that I am not starving, or stuck without a roof over my head...
I am grateful for my thirst for acquiring knowledge and my will to keep putting one foot in front of the other, no matter what happens...
I am also grateful for all the people I've crossed paths with in this life, as I have learned from each and every one of them, whether they've been positive or negative and no matter how brief the interaction...
I am grateful that all the knots I'm currently tangled are currently untangling themselves so everything will work out exactly as it should...
I am grateful that I'm currently transitioning and making progress...
I am grateful for the future and all the positivity, love, light, freedom, perspective, experiences and happiness it will hold...
