Ralph Slater

Ralph Slater was an American stage hypnotist who wrote the 1950's classic book "Hypnotism and Self Hypnosis". While appearing in London England in 1952 a young girl who was performing as one his subjects on stage, later fell and broke her ankle. A bill was pushed through Parliament banning stage hypnosis in Great Britain. was subsequently restricted and banned in some states in the USA and Australia.
