PT Barnum

Barnum or Phineas Taylor Barnum (1810 - 1891) was an American showman who is best remembered for founding the circus that eventually became the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

PT Barnum was a businessman above all else, his profession was pure entertainment, and he was perhaps the first "show business" millionaire. As An author, his works include:

  • Struggles and Triumphs, or, Forty Years' Recollections of P.T. Barnum
  • The Colossal P.T. Barnum Reader: Nothing Else Like It in the Universe
  • The Life of P.D. Barnum: Written by Himself
  • The Wild Beasts, Birds and Reptiles of the World: The Story of Their Capture
