Florence Scovel Shinn

Born in 1871, Florence Scovel Shinn was part of the New Thought Movement of the early 1900's. She self-published her book "The Game of Life and How to Play It" in 1925. "Your Word is Your Wand" was published in 1928 and "The Secret Door to Success" was published in 1940 shortly before her death on October 17, 1940.
